ResCom Direct supplies CE-marked Cellulose Magnesia Cement (CMC) panels to contractors, architects and developers across Ireland. The panels are :

They are suitable for internal walls, external facades, rainscreen cladding, shaft liners and structural flooring systems in residential and commercial buildings.

High Performance (HP) Range

The HP range is designed for applications where fire performance, durability and versatility across multiple building elements are required.

Edge profiles: Square, Recessed or ShipLap (on thicknesses greater than 9mm)
Workability: Can be cut with handsaw (under 10mm) or circular saw. Can be routed, profiled, sanded, rendered, painted and tiled.

External and internal walls, facade cladding, boundary walls, shaft liners, air barriers, rainscreen cladding, eaves, soffits, inter-tenancy separation walls, column and beam fire protection, impact protection, tile backing board, flooring overlay, door, skirting and window trims.

Technical Documentation and Compliance

ResCom CMC panels are independently tested and certified. Below is a summary of the key compliance documentation available for specification and building control submissions in Ireland, the UK and the EU.

CE Declaration of Performance

ResCom CMC panels carry a CE mark issued under EU Construction Products Regulation 2024/3110. The Declaration of Performance is issued by Rescom Building Products UK and Ireland Ltd. as importer, under harmonised technical specification IS EN 12467:2012+A2:2018. Reaction to fire is declared as A1.

ISO 8336 Product Technical Statement

The product is independently assessed and certified against ISO 8336 (Fibre Cement Flat Sheets) by PCME Certifications. The statement covers 6mm to 20mm board thicknesses for internal and external wall, ceiling lining and flooring applications.

Independent Third-Party Test Evidence

Fire reaction and flooring: SGS-CSTC tested to AS ISO 9239.1 / ISO 9239-1 for 10mm and 20mm boards. Critical heat flux 11.0 kW/m2 or greater, no flame spread at 10 minutes.

Non-combustibility: Ignis Labs (NATA accredited, ISO/IEC 17025), tested to AS 1530.1. Result: Non-combustible.

EN 12467 durability suite: Intertek (JasAnz accredited). Tests include wet modulus of rupture, freeze-thaw, heat-rain and water impermeability. Results: Pass, Category A / Class 2.

Structural engineering peer review: Independent peer review of factory QA data (176 specimen rows), Intertek and SGS test records. Bending strength values from 16.15 MPa to 29.49 MPa across panel thicknesses. All QA specimen rows classified A.

Acoustic performance: Declared system Rw values from 67 dB to 80 dB depending on wall build-up configuration.

Fire Protection of Structural Elements

ResCom CMC panels can be used to provide passive fire protection to steel and timber structural members. Declared minimum thicknesses for fire resistance levels (FRL) from 60 minutes to 240 minutes are available in the ResCom fire protection guide. Contact us for the full document.
